When people think about a specific church, the first image that comes to mind is usually a particular building or location. However, those buildings and associated properties do not constitute a church. First Baptist Church of Alamance has a physical address where we participate in corporate worship, teaching and many other activities, but that is not our church.
Our church is much more than a building. It is a family of individuals professing faith in Christ who have made a commitment to God and one another. We all come from differing backgrounds, family situations, occupations and interests. Some have lived in the community for many years. Others have just moved to the area. Regardless or where you’re coming from, the atmosphere at First Baptist makes it feel like home!
